The Bubblemaker and Seal Team programmes take place in the shallow water of a swimming pool.
Bubblemakers have a chance to put on tiny versions of real scuba equipment and practice swimming underwater with their Instructor. They can dive up to 2 metres deep and get to play underwater games.

Seal Team is designed more for children who want to learn whilst playing. Fun Diving around Koh Phangan
Koh Phangan is surrounded by some of the most beautiful Dive Sites in the Gulf of Thailand. The most notable being “Sail Rock” considered the best dive in the Gulf.
For spectacular video footage of diving around Koh Phangan, especially Sail Rock, check out Ocean Reality’s vimeo site which is updated daily, showing all the latest dive trips
At Scuba Futures we have been diving and teaching in The Gulf of Thailand for many years and love all the amazing dive sites on offer. We are very knowledgeable when it comes to fish and coral identification and will share all our stories and experience with you. We take small groups of maximum 4 certified divers with one Divemaster/Instructor, and separate the levels of certification. The boat is large and comfortable and a delicious buffet breakfast, lunch and drinks are served on all dive trips. Our prices include equipment and hotel transfers too.
There are many other famous sites reachable by boat nearby such as Angthong Marine Park and the many sites around the Island of Koh Tao. These are all suitable for beginners and certified divers, plus snorkeling is available on all boat trips, so even non-divers can enjoy the corals and thousands of tropical fish!
With fringing coral reefs surrounding the Island, it is possible to enjoy local diving either from a boat or walking in straight from the beach. With Koh Ma Island and Mae Haad bay, as well as Haad Khom and Hin Gnam among others, local diving is great for beginners and certified divers alike.
The famous “Sail Rock” is everybody’s favourite dive site in the Gulf of Thailand It is situated 16 KM from Koh Phangan (A one hour boat trip) and is in the middle of the ocean. The Rock is 15 metres high from the surface, and graduates down to 40 metres at it’s deepest. Being the only reef for miles, it is literally covered in thousands of fishes of many different species. Huge schools of Big Eye Travelly cover the reef, as well as tornadoes of barracuda of all sizes. Large Grouper hang out in the rocks, and the occasional Giant moray pops its’ head out. Basically, you don’t need to search for fish, they are all around you!
“The Chimney” is perhaps Sail Rock’s most talked about feature. A vertical cavern, starting at 7 metres and going down to 17 metres, divers are treated to species which live in darker places. Cave sweepers, pipe fish, shrimp and moray eels all hide out in the cracks and crevasses of The Chimney.
Other favourite areas of Sail Rock are The Batfish Pinnacle, The East Pinnacle and The Camel Humps. A good place to spot Whalesharks too. There is so much to see, that you could have 100 dives there, and still not see everything.
Price: 2,700 THB – 2 Dive boat trip with breakfast, lunch drinks, equipment and taxis included
Angthong Marine Park
The Angthong Marine Park consists of around 42 small islands surrounded by some of the most beautiful untouched corals in the Gulf. There are 2 sites we love the most “Koh Yipon Nui” and Koh Yipon Yai”, 2 “mini” Sail Rocks approx a 1 3/4 hour boat ride from Koh Phangan.
It is a great place to see more unusual species such as sea snakes and turtles, large schools of barracuda, groupers, and the odd large spotted passerby. The sites are shallow meaning long dive times and there are lots of swim throughs and caverns to explore. The islands are covered in nesting birds and are also great for snorkelers.
Price: 3,000 THB – 2 dives all inclusive. Snorkelers 1,600 THB
Koa Tao is surrounded by a variety of dive sites. Some are very popular with the local dive schools, so we like to venture far from the crowd to our favourite sites. One of these is “Shark Island” with a variety of beautiful soft corals, and lots of our friends the “Trigger Fish”. It is also a good place to spot schools of yellow tailed barracuda and the odd passing turtle. Liem Thian and Ao Leuk are other favourites as they are shallow and full of reef fish such as angel fish, butterfly fish, blue spotted rays, surgeon fish and groupers. They are great sites for beginners and snorkelers and have lots of swim throughs as well as the odd baby reef shark. Koh Tao also has it’s own purposely sunk wreck, ” The HMS Satakut”. The wreck is 48 metres long and is 30 metres at it’s deepest point. So a great place to complete your “Wreck Diver” Adventure dive as part of the PADI Advanced Course.
Price: 3,000 THB – 2 dives all inclusive. Snorkelers 1,600 THB
